Some forces active to de-stabilise coalition government; Jhagra
ISLAMABAD: Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League (N) Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that some forces are active to de-stabilise the coalition government but the political leadership is committed to defeat them. Talking to PTV he said that there will be no justice in society until the pro-statuesque forces remain active but the things are gradually moving towards the change. He said the coalition partners are sincere to restore the deposed judges and difference of opinion between the PPP and PML-N exists only on the modalities. The PML-N leader said that allocation of funds for enhanced number of SC judges doesn't necessary means to appoint the PCO judges on regular basis. He said the constitution allows to appoint the additional judges of SC under circumstance on ad-hoc basis and if at all the PCO judges are to be retained it can be done through this arrangement. To a question he said it is unfortunate that the nomination papers of a two times prime minister were rejected by the high court. It is, however, a good gesture on part of PPP led coalition government to pursue the matter in Supreme Court on behalf of Federation, he added. This initiative would help promote mutual trust between the coalition partners and the system would gain strength, he said. He said the PPP and PML-N have very good working understanding and his party will keep on supporting the coalition government on issue to issue basis.-APP
