PPP strive hard to accomplish mission of BB; Fouzai

ISLAMABAD: Member of National Assembly and leader of Pakistan Peoples Party, Fouzia Wahab, on Friday called upon the activists of PPP to strive hard to accomplish the mission of their great leader for cause of the poor.
Paying rich tributes to Daughter of the East in a Dawn TV programme, Fouzia said the Shaheed chairperson had faced the dictatorship bravely and refused to compromise on democratic rights of the masses.
She said that Benazir Bhutto was international leader who struggled for the progress and prosperity of the people and establishment of peace in the world.
She said, "we are working on her agenda as the people have great regard and recognition of her achivemnets".
To a question Fouzia Wahab said Benazir Bhutto Shaheed had always strived for the uplift of deprived segments of society.
She said the international Human Rights award conferred on Benazir Bhutto is not only a pride for the PPP but also for the whole nation.
PPP leader said, "While following in the footprints of her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the Daughter of the East always struggled for promotion of peace, tolerance, unity, interfaith harmony and securing rights of the poor and deprived segments of the society, and even laid down her precious life for this sacred cause." Fouzia said that BB had always respected the hardworking and devoted workers in the party and assigned them different respensibilities. The most of the people who were around her from the ordinary backgrounds, they were not from the big families but were known for their commitment and enjoyed their status on merit of hardwork.
She is still alive in their hearts which they express in their slogans, "Bibi zinda hai".-APP
