No problem with unification of PML factions; Shahbaz
LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Reaffirming his strong stance to continue politics of consensus, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday made it clear that we are ready to unify with all PML factions including PML-Q for larger national interests of the country. According to a private TV, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif during his visit to a University in Lahore on Tuesday was of the view that Punjab Government is taking apt measures to provide better facilities to down trodden poor segments of the society besides quality education to under privilege families. He said that Punjab Government is making sure that poor families in Lahore get their due share of respect, as Education is a basic tool which distinguishes between good and evil. Replying to a question, he said that he is satisfied with the pace of works in Punjab, however there are still some areas, which need improvement. He was optimistic that in the larger interests of the country there is no problem whatsoever to unify with PML-Q factions. We want solutions to all problems of masses as we respect the mandate of masses, he maintained. On the other hand, while talking to a Private TV, Head of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rashid that PML-N's decision regarding unification with all factions of PML-Q is an enriching sign for the country urging it should have been done very early. "I am waiting for the time when PML-N joins hand with PML-Q stressing it is high time that all leaders sit together and take the country out of hot waters", he held. He lauded the prudent policies of Shahbaz Sharif while on the other hand went on to say that Nawaz Sharif believes in politics of stubbornness and inflexibility. Meanwhile Secretary Information PML-Q Tariq Azeem was of the view that we want to solve the problems of masses in an amicable manner and unifications of all factions is the right way to solve all issues. Time has come to move forward and stop pulling each other's leg for the supreme nation interests of the country, he pointed. Tariq Azeem added that country is facing serious economic problems, however Harmony and Consensus between all Politicians are key to success.-Online
