Five-member Kashmir Action Committee formed at Nottingham

ISLAMABAD: A representative meeting of different Kashmiri groups formed a five-member Kashmir Action Committee at Nottingham. Aftab Shareef, President of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, UK, arranged the meeting.
Prof. Nazir A. Shawl, Executive Director of Kashmir Centre, London, Prof. Zafar Khan (Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front), Dr. Misfar Hussain (Jammu & Kashmir Liberation League), Irshad Malik (Democratic Freedom Party), Hassan-ul-Bana (a visiting Kashmiri leader), Bashir Ratvi (Chief organiser Jammu & Kashmir Muslim conference), Raja Asgar (Chief organiser Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Front UK) and Shoaib Akbar Nazish (JKFC) were also present on he occasion, KMS reported. This meeting was in continuation to other meetings held at Slough, London, Wimbledon, Luton and Manchester.
The members of the committee are Aftab Shareef, President of Muslim Conference, Prof. Zafar Khan, Chairman, Diplomatic Bureau, JKLF, Dr. Misfar Hussain, former general secretary of JKLL, Irshad Malik, Chairman, Diplomatic Bureau of Democratic Freedom Party UK and EU and Shoaib Akbar Nazish, Secretary of Committee.
This committee was mandated to contact all political groups and organise a meeting to chalk out sustainable programmes in Britain.-APP
